Installing the pedestrian protection sensor

• Check impact absorber (2) for damage and, if necessary, replace it.
• Carefully insert the active pedestrian protection (1) into the impact absorber (2).

• Connect connectors (1) and lock.
• Attach and correctly position the impact absorber (2) at the top and bottom on the secondary air pump.

• Attach the expanding rivet (1) on the impact absorber (2).

• Install the air duct (1) and engage the clips (2).
