Check roof-mounted antenna housing for tightness

Preliminary work 

Follow-up work 

• Make soap solution with water and soap (for example, dish soap).
• Close all windows, doors and flaps.
• Set fan to highest level.

  Start the engine if necessary.

• Spray soap solution in the joint (1).

  Check 

• Observe the joint while a support person opens the front door and closes it forcefully.
• Repeat procedure several times.

  Result 

  » Soap bubbles are visible in the joint.

  Measure

• Disassemble roof-mounted antenna housing and glue it again.
