Remove and install (replace) headlining (equipment specification with slide/tilt sunroof) (X6 M)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Complete removal only:

Removal:

Open coat hook halfway.

Press clamps together and feed coat hook out towards the inside.

Remove expanding rivet (2).

Detach headlining from clip (3).

IMPORTANT: The following tasks must be carried out with a second person assisting:

Unclip headlining from clips (1) downwards in area of sliding roof frame.

Take off headlining in vehicle interior.

Complete removal only:

Feed headlining through windscreen opening and out of vehicle.

Installation:

Install headlining and fix in place with edge protection.

Clip headlining onto clips (1) in area of sliding roof frame.

NOTE: If necessary, replace faulty clips (1).

Clip headlining into clip (3).

Tighten screw (1).

Install expanding rivet (2).

Install coat hook.
