Replacing rear left or right door window (X6 M)

Carry out work on the power windows only when the power window motor is de-energized (unplug connector).

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove SOUND INSULATION ON REAR DOOR .
• Remove the WINDOW FRAME COVER ON THE REAR DOOR .

Removal: 

Move door window glass (1) until the stop of the fixture (2) can be operated.

Press the stop of the fixture (2) outwards using a screwdriver and feed out the door window glass (1) towards the top at a slight angle.

Installation: 

Feed in door window glass (1).

Engage door window glass (1) in the stop of the fixture (2).

Required follow-up work: 

• Install SOUND INSULATION ON REAR DOOR .
• Install the WINDOW FRAME COVER ON THE REAR DOOR .
