Replacing the pulse sensor on the crankshaft (N63 B40/B44 O 1, S63 B44 T2) (X6 M)

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Read out the fault memory of the DME control unit.
• Switch off ignition.
• Remove rear UNDERBODY PROTECTION .

Installation location: 

On transmission housing at bottom right.

Unlock connector (1) and pull off.

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque 13 62 4AZ .

Withdraw pulse generator (3) from transmission housing.
