Removing and installing or replacing trim panel for cover on left or right side member (X6 M)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Release rivet (1) on wheel arch trim (2).

Release wheel arch trim (2) in the rear section.

Installation note:

Replace rivet (1).

Release rivet (1) on rear wheel arch trim.

Release trim (2) from the clip (3).

Release screws (4).

Installation note:

Replace rivet (1).

Replace faulty clip (3) if required.

Release clips (1) and screw (2).

Installation note:

If necessary, replace clips (1).

Fit clips (1) with O-rings.

Unclip trim panel (1) in area (A).

Open doors.

Release trim panel (1) at clips (2) and latch mechanisms (3) and remove in direction of arrow.

Installation note:

Replace faulty clip (2) if required.

Latch mechanisms (1) on holder (2) must not be damaged.
