Removing and installing/replacing trim cover on front door window frame, left or right (X6 M)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Open side window
• Release COVER ON DOOR WINDOW FRAME  in trim cover area

Pull rubber window seal (1) out of rear window guide.

Installation note: 

Moisten rubber window seal (1) slightly with water to facilitate installation.

Release screws (1).

Push trim cover on window frame (2) down slightly until it can be fed out at the top at the rubber window seal (1).

Now carefully pull out trim cover at window frame (2) upwards and toward the rear.

Installation note: 

Sealing on end plate of B-pillar (3) must not be damaged or missing.

Correctly slide trim cover on window frame (1) over sheet metal edge (3) and rubber window seal (2).
