Removing tension spring or spindle drive

Remove tension spring 

• Push on clamp in direction of groove with a screwdriver.
• Lift off ball socket from ball hub.
• Push back the clamp.
• Detach the gas spring (1).

Removing the spindle drive 

• Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1).
• Observe disassembly sequence:
  1. Use a screwdriver to push the clamp in the direction of the groove.
  2. Lift off the ball socket from the ball hub.
  3. Push back the clamp.
  4. Detach the ball socket from the ball hub.
• Remove spindle drive (2).
