Install the rear window

Replace the spacer
- Completely remove the spacers (1).
- Use spacer 5x5x20 mm.
Parts: Spacer 5x5x20 mm
- Bond the new spacer (1) in the center on the embossed mark.
- Replace the damaged hook and loop tape (dual-lock tape) (2) at the Rear window and the body.
Parts: Velcro fastener (Dual Lock tape)
- Bond the new hook and loop tape (Dual Lock tape) (2) in the center at the embossed mark.
Install the rear window
- Provide two glue cartridges.
- Prepare a glue cartridge with the standard jet nozzle C.
- Apply bead joint in area (1).
- Apply adhesive bead within the mark on the rear windowTECHNICAL DATA SPECIFICATION
Adhesive bead b = Width
7 mm... 9 mm
h = Height
11 mm... 13 mm - Carefully perform the following actions on rear window (1) with suction lifters:
- Bring it parallel to C-pillar
- apply and press at the bottom on the seal
- Align sides evenly
- evenly press all around and engage at the hook and loop tape (dual-lock tape)
- Ensure that the seal (2) is evenly applied on the trunk lid (3).
- Secure rear window (1) with adhesive tap on the roof.
- Connect the connector (2) and attach the cable clip.
- Tighten the screws (1).
