Easy access in rear compartment

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2017 BMW X3, 2016 BMW X3, 2015 BMW X3, 2014 BMW X3, and 2013 BMW X3. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The two-door vehicle types may have switches for easy entry on the front seats depending on the equipment.

The rear easy-entry facility can be switched on with the switch on the driver's seat and also the switch on the passenger seat for the corresponding side.

The switch for easy entry can be used to automatically move the applicable front seat forward and back again to provide easy entry and exit for rear seat passengers. The armrest must be unlocked manually with a lever before operating the switch. The graphic below shows the rear easy-entry facility on the electrically adjustable sports seat of the F21.
