Evaluation electronics on the local interconnect network bus

The evaluation electronics for contact-free tailgate opening are attached to the bumper support.

The sensors for contact-free tailgate opening are connected to the evaluation electronics. The evaluation electronics are connected via LIN bus to the footwell module (FRM) or the front electronic module (FEM). The evaluation electronics transmit the signal to open the tailgate to the relevant control unit.

F0x, F1x: The power distribution box in the junction box supplies the evaluation electronics with terminal 30F.

F3x: The rear power distribution box supplies the evaluation electronics with terminal 30F.

F4x, F5x: The power distribution box on the Body Domain Controller supplies the evaluation electronics with terminal 30F.
