71 60 080 Replace gaiter of self-swiveling trailer tow hitch

00 9 317

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove rear BUMPER PANEL

Unclip cable clip (1).

Use special tool 00 9 317 to lever out gaiter (2) and slide in direction of arrow.

Swing out self-swinging-out trailer tow hitch.

Release screws (1) and remove charging socket (2).

Tightening torque 71 60 2AZ .

Pull off gaiter (1) in direction of arrow from ball hitch.
