84 10 810 Remove and install/replace the Telematic Communication Box (TCB)

NOTE:
Comply with notes and instructions on HANDLING OPTICAL FIBRE
.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect BATTERY EARTH LEAD .
- Remove FLAP IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL on left.
Removal:
Unlock and disconnect all connectors (1).
Release all nuts (2).
Remove the TCB (3) in direction of arrow.
Installation:
Install the TCB (3) in direction of arrow.
Tighten down nuts (2).
Tightening torque: 3, 3 Nm .
Connect all connectors (1).
Replacement:
- Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING/ENCODING
