63 11 840 Replacing left LED fan (outer)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove HEADLIGHT - LED TECHNOLOGY

Removal:

Loosen screws (2) at the main light module (1).

Pull main light module (1) from the headlight.

Loosen connector (1) at the lock (2).

Press connector (1) into the headlight.

Cut headlight along the cutting line (3) with a suitable tool.

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage to the cables underneath, maximum cutting depth 5 mm!

Place the connector (1) to one side and affix.

Unlock and disconnect the connector (1) from the fan (3).

Release screw (2).

Remove fan (3).

Installation:

Engage fan (3) in headlight.

Tighten screw (2).

Connect the plug (1).

Engage connector (1) in repair lid and lock (2).

Secure repair lid to the headlight using 4 screws.

Engage main light module (1).

Tighten down screws (2).
