63 11 571 Removing and installing/replacing right headlight driver module (LED headlight)

NOTE: Removal and installation of headlight driver module is carried out from engine compartment.

Removal:

Release filler channel (1) at the latch mechanism (2).

Pull filler channel (1) upwards.

Turn filler channel (1) away to side.

Release all screws (1).

Feed headlight driver module (2) out of the headlight.

Installation:

Installation note:

Gasket (1) on headlight driver module (2) must not be damaged and must be installed free of grease.

Assemble headlight driver module (2) in the headlight.

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 63 12 2AZ .

Insert filler channel (1) into holder.

NOTE: Make sure filler channel (1) is correctly fitted and engaged (2).

Replacement:

Teach in headlight driver module (1) via vehicle diagnosis.

Initialize the headlight driver module and teach in LEDs in headlight
Perform encoding, if necessary
