Replace the lower main bearing shell (collar bearing)
- Remove the lower main bearing shell (1) out of the main bearing cap.
- Replace the lower main bearing shell.
Parts: Bottom main bearing shell
- Insert the bottom main bearing shell (1) in arrow direction.
The bottom main bearing shell (1) must not have any lubricating groove and must have a lateral collar.
- Oil the main bearing shell (1) with motor oil.
