Adjusting Hood

Preliminary work

Refer to REMOVING THE HOOD STRIKER .

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The gap dimensions form the basis for these repair instructions and must be observed without fail.
For additional information see: BODY DIMENSIONS .

NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side.

Loosen nuts (1) and (2) until the hood can be pushed.
Slide the hood in longitudinal direction and to the side until the hood has the specified gap dimension.

» Gap dimensions do not correspond to the specifications.

Measure
Adjusting hood.
NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side.

Install the nuts (1) and (2) and tighten.

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Bonnet
Nut M8
	Tightening torque
	19 Nm
