Removing the door sill trim panel
Prerequisite
The front and rear doors are open.
- Release blind rivet (1) on the rear wheel arch trim.
- Release the rear wheel arch trim (1) at the clips (2).
- Loosen blind rivet (1).
- Release front wheel arch trim (2) on the clips (3).
- Loosen screws (1).
- Loosen nut (2).

- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Release door sill trim panel (1) from the rear starting with the clips (2).
- Carefully thread out and remove door sill trim panel (1).
- If necessary, unlock associated plug connection and disconnect.
