Removing the protective strip from the front door

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
Careless handling of tools and sharp-edged components. 
Scratches, surface damage. 

• Protect working area.
• Handle tools and components carefully.

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

• Remove the cover (1) and unscrew the screw under it.

• Lever bumper strip (1) outwards out of the clips (2) with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325)  .
• Remove bumper strip (1).
