Adjusting Rear Lid Lock

Lever out the covers (1) with a suitable tool.
Slacken the screws underneath it until the tailgate lock can be shifted.

Check the gap dimensions (arrows) between the trunk lid and bumper cover.

Result

» Gap dimensions do not correspond to the specifications.

Measure
Adjust tailgate latch.

Tighten the screws.

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Tailgate lock to body
M8x20 screw
	Tightening torque
	19 Nm

Clip in the covers (1).
Adjust stop pad (1) by turning.
