Adjusting The Rear Door On The Left

- Open the rear door.
- Slacken the screws (1) until the rear door can be shifted.
- Adjust the rear door height (Z).
- Adjust the rear door width (Y).
Check
- Check gap dimensions between the rear door and adjacent body parts.
Result
» Gap dimensions do not correspond to the specifications.
Measure
- Adjust the rear door.
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Rear door to door hinge M8 screw tightening torque 19 Nm Adjust lock striker
Prerequisite
The screws on lock striker are loosened so far that the lock striker can still be shifted.

For additional information see: BODY DIMENSIONS . - Adjust the height of the lock striker so that the door lock does not bump or drag.
- Move lock striker sideways in order to adjust the gap dimensions between door and rear quarter panel.
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Lock striker screw Tightening torque 21 Nm Check
- Check gap dimensions between the rear door and adjacent body parts.
Result
» Gap dimensions do not correspond to the specifications.
Measure
- Adjust the rear door.
