Adjusting Left Front Door

- Open the front door.
- Loosen screws (1) until the front door can be shifted.
- Adjust front door at height (Z).
- Adjust front door at width (Y).
Check
- Check gap dimension between front door and the adjacent body parts.
Result
» Gap dimensions do not correspond to the specifications.
Measure
- Adjust the front door.
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Front door to door hinge screw Tightening torque 19 Nm Adjust lock striker
Prerequisite
The screws on lock striker are loosened so far that the lock striker can still be shifted.

For additional information see: BODY DIMENSIONS . - Adjust the height of the lock striker so that the door lock does not bump or drag.
- Move lock striker sideways in order to adjust the gap dimensions between door and rear quarter panel.
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Lock striker screw Tightening torque 21 Nm Check
- Check gap dimension between front door and the adjacent body parts.
Result
» Gap dimensions do not correspond to the specifications.
Measure
- Adjust the front door.
