Prepare New Part

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Adhesive technology in the area of the outer skin (not for structural adhesion):
The bonding surfaces of the new parts may not sharpened or ground.

Place the roof outer skin in position on the vehicle and adjust it to fit together with the roof trim strips.
To maintain the short processing time starting from the adhesive task, have the following fastening and tensioning tools ready before installation.
(1) M6 To fix the roof outer skin in place, have screws, nuts and washers ready by the mounting hole.

Mount roof clamps (1) and fix with a retaining strap (2).

Adjust roof pliers according to the schematic diagram.

Mount the roof clamps (1) as shown in the illustration and fasten with the retaining strap (2).
Release clamping tools and remove roof outer skin.

Renew T-bolt

NOTE: Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.
Take the quantity and position from the component to be renewed.
Renew T-bolts (1).
Parts: T-bolt
Weld the T-bolt (1) onto the new part.
