Install Both Tail Lights on the Trunk Lid

Check 

• Check the seal (1) and the snap-in hook (2) of the rear light (3) for damage.

Result 

» The seal (1) or snap-in hook (2) is damaged.

Measure

• Replace the tail light (3).

Parts:  Tail light

• Insert the tail light (1) from the outside into the trunk lid until the retaining lugs (2) lock.

• Tighten the nuts (1) on the tail light (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Tail light at trunk lid
  M5 nut	Tightening torque	2.3 Nm

• Connect and lock the connector (1) to the tail light (2).

Follow-up work 

• Install the tailgate TRIM PANEL .
• Mount both the rear side window frame TRIMS .
• Install the top rear window frame TRIM .
• Install both trunk lid COVERS .
• Install the trunk lid LIGHT .
• Install the power tailgate SWITCH .
