Mount the exhaust system in a de-energized state, following the tightening sequence from the rear silencer towards the exhaust manifold.

Removing the catalytic converter (cylinders 4 through 6)

- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Unclip the cable (2) from the holders (1).
- Remove the holder (1).
NOTE:
The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.
- Version with holder (4):
Release screws (1) and (2).
Release nut (3).
Guide out and remove holder (4).
- Loosen the V-ribbon clip (2) and remove the catalytic converter (1).
- Release the V-ribbon clip (1).
- Guide out and remove catalytic converter (2).
