Remove right charge air cooler

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE COVER PANEL OF THE MASTER DME CONTROL UNIT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE COVER PANEL OF THE SLAVE DME CONTROL DEVICE .
• Refer to REMOVING THE COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT ON THE LEFT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT ON THE RIGHT .
• Refer to RELEASING LEFT FRONT-END STRUT .
• Refer to RELEASING THE RIGHT FRONT-END STRUT .
• Refer to REMOVING FRONT CROSS CONNECTION .
• Refer to REMOVING LEFT INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING .
• Refer to REMOVING RIGHT INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING .
• Refer to REMOVING THE REAR TOP CROSS CONNECTION .
• Refer to REMOVING FAN COWL WITH ELECTRIC MOTOR .
• Refer to REMOVING THE WHEEL ARCH COVER ON THE FRONT LEFT AND BOTTOM RIGHT .
• Refer to DRAINING THE COOLANT FROM THE COOLANT PUMPS .
• Refer to REMOVING OIL FILLER NECK .

• Unlock the retaining clips (1) with a suitable screwdriver.
• Detach the coolant lines (2) and set aside.
• Unlock plug connection (3) and disconnect.

• Thread the hose (1) out of the holder on the charge air cooler (4).
• Loosen hose clamp (3).
• Pull the hose (2) off the stud of the charge air cooler.

• Thread the hose (1) out of the holder on the charge air cooler (4).
• Loosen hose clamp (3).
• Pull the hose (2) off the stud of the charge air cooler.

• Loosen hose clamp (1).

• Loosen hose clamp (2).

• Release the wiring harness mounting (1).
• Loosen screw (2).
• Feed out the holder (3) downwards from the groove (4).

• Carefully unlock and disconnect the line (1).
• Put the line to one side.

• Unlock retaining clip (1) with a suitable screwdriver.
• Remove the coolant line (2) and lay it to one side..

• Carefully unlock and disconnect the line (1).
• Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.

• Put the line to one side.

• Unlock the holder with a suitable screwdriver at the lug (1) and remove it upward from the guide.

• Release the line (1) from the holders (2).

• Loosen screw (1).
• Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.

• Loosen screws (1).

• Removing connecting plate (2) between charge air coolers.

• Release the hose clamps (1) on the charge air cooler (2).

• Feed the charge air cooler (1) out toward the top and remove.
