Install heat shield, top
- Engage the heat shield (2) into the clamp (1) at the top of the front wall.
- Position the top heat shield (2).
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Heat shield, top M6x16 screw Tightening torque 8 Nm - Position holder (3).
- Clip the pressure lines in the areas (1) and (2) into the clamps.
- Position the holder of the pressure pipe (2).
- Tighten the screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Position the center cowl upper part (1).
Tighten the screws in the marked areas.

Clip line (1) into the holders (arrows).
- Install the tension strut (3) on the shock tower.

The window wiper system must be in the zero position.
After installing the cowl cover and before installing the wiper arms:
Operate the window wiper system one time, to ensure the window wiper system has the correct installation position. - Connect the wiper arm (3).

Tighten nut (2).
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSWindshield wiper arm Combination hexagon nut tightening torque 35 Nm - Connect the protective cap (1).
- Install the cover (2).
- Lock the lock (1).
Remove the battery cover
NOTE:
The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.
- Remove the special tool 2 452 007 from the battery.
- Install the cover (2).
- Lock the lock (1).
- Position the holder for the expansion tank (1).
- Snap line (2) into the cable brackets.
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Secure the wiring harness mounting (1).
- Position the gasoline particulate sensor holder (2) with the sensor with the centering pin (3).

- Position the gasoline particulate sensor holder (2) with the sensor with the aid of centering pin (3).

Holder of gasoline particulate filter to holder for expansion tank M6x16 Tightening torque 8 Nm - Position the gasoline particulate sensor holder (2) with the sensor with the aid of centering pin (3).
- Tighten down screw (1).

- Installing conduit on bank 2
- Clip the wiring harness (2) into the clamps (1).
- Installing cable duct at cylinder bank 1.
- Position the conduit (2).
- Tighten the screws (1).
