Removing the door sill trim panel

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT WHEEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM FROM THE SIDE PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR SECTION OF THE FRONT WHEEL ARCH COVER FRONT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE AIR DUCT ON THE INNER SIDE PANEL .
Precondition
The front and rear doors are open.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Loosen nut (2).
- Starting at rear, detach door sill trim panel (1) from all detents in area of dashed line.
- Detach retaining lugs (1) from inner surface of side panel (2).
- Slide out and remove the door sill trim panel (3) downward from the side panel (2).
