Removing both front door sill cover strips

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Removing front entrance cover strip

Lever out the sill trim (1) using the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) .

Loosen screw (1) .
Loosen the expanding rivet (2) .
Remove the door sill cover strip (3) in an upwards direction.
