Disassembling the rubber window seals for the front door
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP ON THE FRONT DOOR .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT DOOR WINDOW GLASS .
- Refer to REMOVING THE MIRROR TRIANGLE COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING THE EXTERIOR MIRROR .
- Refer to REMOVING THE DECORATIVE STRIP FROM THE DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER ON THE WINDOW FRAME .
- Refer to REMOVING THE WINDOW FRAME TRIM FROM THE FRONT DOOR .
- Release the rubber window seal (1) from the trim strip (2) .
- Feed out rubber window seal (1) together with the trim strip (2) and remove.
