13 62 534 Replacing exhaust-gas temperature sensor (N57)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Read out the fault memory of the DDE control unit.
- Switch off ignition.
- Remove INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING .
- Remove REINFORCEMENT PLATE .
WARNING:
Risk of burning!
Only perform this repair work on an engine that has cooled down.
Only perform this repair work on an engine that has cooled down.
Unlock connector (1) and remove.
Release cable from clamps and cable straps (2).
Replace cable straps.
Replace cable from clamps.
Release exhaust-gas temperature sensor (1) and remove.
Tightening torque 13 62 4AZ .
Installation note:
Check stored error/fault messages.
Clear diagnostic fault entries from fault memory.
