Easy access in rear compartment
The two-door vehicle types may have switches for easy entry on the front seats depending on the equipment.
The rear easy-entry facility can be switched on with the switch on the driver's seat and also the switch on the passenger seat for the corresponding side.
The switch for easy entry can be used to automatically move the applicable front seat forward and back again to provide easy entry and exit for rear seat passengers. The armrest must be unlocked manually with a lever before operating the switch. The graphic below shows the rear easy-entry facility on the electrically adjustable sports seat of the F21.

The rear easy-entry facility can be activated under the following conditions:
- terminal R is ON
- Vehicle must be stationary.
- The door must be opened.
A rocker switch is installed as the switch for the driver's side and front passenger side entry aids. After manual unlocking, the electric rear easy-entry facility can be used.
The corresponding seat module evaluates the button signal. Depending on the request, the seat module activates the drive for the rear easy-entry facility. The rocker switch will return to the initial position after pressing.
