67 16 010 Removing and installing/replacing left headlight vertical aim adjuster (halogen headlight)

Version with xenon headlights: Danger to life due to high voltage!
Therefore disconnect all components from voltage supply before removal.
Work on the entire xenon lighting system (control unit, ignition unit with bulb) may only be carried out by specialist personnel.

IMPORTANT:
Danger of injury!
Risk of damage!
Do not make any cutting movements when removing the sprayed-on cover.
The cover may only be separated from the housing by punching. A groove of reduced wall thickness shows the punching line.
Cutting movements may damage cables inside the headlight.
The sealing edge must not be damaged!

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove HEADLIGHT
Removal:
Open lid (1).
Disengage connector (2) inwards.
Release screw (1).
Disconnect the connector (1).
Release screw (2).
Thread headlight beam throw adjuster (3) out.
Installation:
Ball head of headlight beam throw adjuster (1) must be threaded into fixture (2).
Tighten the screw (2) on the headlight beam throw adjuster (3).
Connect the connector (1).
Tighten down screw (1).
Engage connector (2) from inside.
Close lid (1).
Required reworking:
- Install HEADLIGHT
- Adjust HEADLIGHTS
