13 62 651 Replacing exhaust backpressure sensor (N47 D20 O1)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Read out the fault memory of the DDE control unit.
Switch off ignition.
Remove INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING .

WARNING: Risk of burning!
Only perform this repair work on an engine that has cooled down.

Unlock connector (1) and remove.

Unlock exhaust backpressure sensor (2) at holder.

Remove exhaust backpressure sensor (2).

Detach pressure hose (3). Renew pressure hose.

Installation note:

Check stored error/fault messages.

Clear diagnostic fault entries from fault memory.
