13 71 150 Removing clean air pipe (N47 D20 O1)

Necessary preliminary work:

Remove acoustic cover. See 13..... REMOVE ACOUSTIC COVER (N47 D20 O/T1) .

At the clean air pipe (1), undo the clamps (2).

Pull the clean air pipe (1) off the intake filter housing.

Unlock connector on hot film air mass meter and pull off.

Release clamp (2).

Tightening torque: 13 71 3AZ .

Feed out upper part of clean air pipe towards top and remove.

Press down locking hook and detach hose (2) for engine ventilation.

With the heating element installed, unlock connector from heating element and pull off.

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque: 13 71 4AZ .

Release clip (3) on exhaust turbocharger and detach bottom section of clean air pipe, feed out and remove upwards.

Assemble engine.
