Removing steering column shroud lower section

Preliminary work 

• Refer to ADJUSTING THE STEERING COLUMN POSITION .
• Refer to REMOVING STEERING COLUMN SHROUD UPPER SECTION .

• Press the retaining lugs (arrows) a little outwards and unclip the steering column shroud lower section in a downward direction.

• Tilt steering column shroud lower section in downward direction.
• Unlock and disconnect the plug connections (1) and (2).
• Remove steering column shroud lower section.
