Remove exhaust system
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Mount the exhaust system in a de-energized state, following the tightening sequence from the rear silencer towards the exhaust manifold.

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE CONNECTING SUPPORT FROM THE TUNNEL AT FRONT AND REAR .
- Refer to REMOVING THE CROSS STRUT WITH THE TORSION STRUT .

- Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.
CAUTION:
Heavy component

Heavy components can lead to injury or damage .

- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Detach the ribbon clamp (1) .
For equipment specification with V-ribbon clip: Release V-ribbon clip
- Loosen V-band clamp (1) .
If installed: Disconnecting the plug connection of exhaust flaps
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Version A: Remove exhaust system
- Loosen screw (1) .
- Loosen nuts (2) .
- Release rubber mount (3) from exhaust system (4) .
- Lower, guide out and remove exhaust system (4) with an auxiliary person.
Version B: Remove exhaust system
- Loosen the nuts (1) .
- Detach rubber mount (2) from the exhaust system (3) .
- With the help of another person, lower, disengage, and remove the exhaust system (3) .
