When replacing the center armrest: Remount base plate

Removing the base plate 

• Expose the access line (2) up to base plate (1).

• If necessary, press the button (1) and remove the cover (2).

• Disengage the base plate (1) on both sides from the center armrest with special tools 0 493 687 (00 9340)  .

• Turn the base plate (1) away to the side.
• Unscrew the bolts from the upper housing section (2).

• Remove the upper housing section (1) and release cable straps if necessary.
• Unlock and disconnect the cable (2) to the fan.
• Unclip all cables on underside of the upper housing section (1).
• Thread out all cables and remove base plate.

  Installing the base plate 

• Thread in all cables and base plate.
• Clip in all cables on underside of upper housing section (1).
• If necessary, fasten cables on the upper housing section (1) with cable straps.
• Connect cable (2) to fan.

• Thread the access line (2) through at the center armrest (1).

• Tighten screws of upper housing section (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Upper housing section
  Screw	Tightening torque	2.7 Nm

• Fit the base plate (1) in the upper housing section (2).
• If necessary, fit the cover (2) in the base plate (1).
