Remove both tail lights from the side panel

NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Remove the tail light on the side panel
- Mask the body in the area (1)
with plastic adhesive tape.

- Release the nuts (1)
on the tail light (2)

- Guide the tail light (1)
to the rear out of the guides (2)

- Detach the cable out of the guide (1)

- Unlock and disconnect the plug connection (2)
and remove the tail light.
