11 15 140 Replace oil separator (N63O1)

Necessary preliminary work:

Remove cylinder head cover. See 11 12 005 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/SEALING LEFT CYLINDER HEAD COVER (N63O1) or 11 12 006 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/SEALING RIGHT CYLINDER HEAD COVER (N63O1) .

Removal:

Release screws in the sequence 4 - 1 .

Remove the oil separator with the distributor.

Installation:

NOTE: Ensure that the oil separator gasket (1) is correctly installed in distributor (2).

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
All engine oil and contamination must be removed from all threaded holes.
Compliance with torque specifications for screw connections is mandatory!

NOTE: Ensure gasket (1) is correctly installed between the oil separator and the channel.

Install the oil separator with duct.

Parts: Replace screws.

Tighten screws in the sequence 1 - 4 .

Tightening torque 11 12 11AZ .
