11 22 510 Removing and installing/replacing flywheel (transmission removed - S63T 0)
Special tools required:
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove transmission. See applicable procedure for drivetrain configuration: 28 00 001 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TWIN-CLUTCH GEARBOX (GS7D36SG) S63 or 23 00 018 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRANSMISSION (GS6-53BZ) (S63 USA) .
Fix flywheel in position with special tool 11 9 260 as shown in graphic.
Release flywheel bolts with special tool 11 4 180 /
Twin-clutch gearbox:
Release all flywheel bolts (1).
Remove all special tools.
Remove flywheel (2).
Installation note:
Clean thread of flywheel bolts in crankshaft.
Flywheel (2) is secured with an alignment pin.
Fit new flywheel bolts.
Tightening torque 11 22 1AZ .
