Remove both tail lights from the side panel

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR COVERING .
• Refer to REMOVING THE LOADING EDGE TRIM .
• Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING THE LEFT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM PANEL .
• Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING THE RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM PANEL .

Remove the tail light on the side panel 

• Protect the body in area (1) with adhesive tape.

• Unclip the water guide (1) with the special tool  0 496 569 (00 9 325)  .

• Unlock and disconnect connector (1).
• Release the nut (2) on the inside of the trunk.

• Release the nuts (1) on the tail light (2).
• Remove the tail light (2) in the direction of the arrow.
