Replacing gearshift arm support bearing

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Remove complete EXHAUST SYSTEM .
• Remove rear UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
• Remove front heat shield

Removal: 

Lever support bearing (1) out of bracket with stubby screwdriver.

Pull support bearing (1) off gearshift arm (2).

Installation: 

Slide support bearing (1) onto gearshift arm (2) in illustrated position.

Press support bearing (1) into holder.

Required follow-up work: 

• Install front heat shield
• Install rear UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
• Install complete EXHAUST SYSTEM .
