Removing and installing/replacing control unit for Vertical Dynamic Control (VDC)

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Clamp off NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE .

Removal:

Unscrew nuts (2).

Remove the control unit holder (1) and tilt it forward.

Unlock the connector (1) from the VDC control unit (2) and release.

Remove the VDC control unit (1) from the control unit holder (2).

Installation:

Slide the VDC control unit (1) into the control unit holder (2).

Connect the connector (1) to the VDC control unit (2) and lock.

Position the control unit holder (1).

Tighten down nuts (2).

Tightening torque 37 14 6AZ .

Required follow-up work: 

• Connect the BATTERY EARTH LEAD .
• Replacement only: Carry out PROGRAMMING/ENCODING .
