Removing and installing/replacing airbag module for passenger knee protection

Necessary preliminary tasks:

NOTE: The passenger's side is identical to the driver's side shown here!

Unfasten PLUG CONNECTION (1) and disconnect.

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque 72 12 02AZ .
