Removing and installing or replacing rear left or right seat belts (Except M4 Convertible)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove TRIM FOR ROOF PILLAR AT REAR .
Removing left or right automatic reel:
Undo screw (1) from inertia reel unit (2).
Tightening torque 72 11 20AZ .
Remove automatic reel (2) in direction of arrow.
Installation note:
Replace screw (1).
Inertia reel unit (2) is coded against incorrect installation.
Release screw (1).
Tightening torques 72 11 22AZ .
Remove seat belt (2).
Installation note:
Replace screw (1).
Pin (3) determines the installation position and prevents the end fitting from turning.
