Removing and installing/replacing relay for fan control

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Clamp off BATTERY LEAD FROM NEGATIVE CONNECTION POINT .
• Remove TRAILING LINK ON SPRING STRUT DOME .

Removal: 

Unlock and disconnect connector (1).

Release nut (2) and remove relay (3) from holder (4).

Release nuts (1) and remove cable from relay (2).

Installation: 

Join cable to relay (2) and tighten with nuts (1).

Tightening torque 61 21 1AZ .

Join relay (3) to holder (4) and tighten with nut (2).

Connect the connector (1).

Required follow-up work: 

• Connect NEGATIVE BATTERY LEAD .
• Remove TRAILING LINK ON SPRING STRUT DOME .
