Removing & installing (replacing) module for interior movement detector on rear left side trim panel (M4 Convertible)

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DAMAGE (ESD PROTECTION) .

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Removal:

Release screw (1).

Unlock latch mechanisms (2).

Remove microwave sensor (3).

Installation:

Position microwave sensor (3) correctly and engage in latch mechanisms (2).

Tighten screw (1).

NOTE: Latch mechanisms (2) must not be damaged or missing.
