Oil change in manual transmission including used oil disposal

It is essential to adhere to conditions of absolute cleanliness.

Recycling: 

Catch and dispose of escaping transmission oil.

Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Remove REAR UNDERBODY PROTECTION .

Removal: 

Release oil drain plug (1) and oil filler plug (2). Drain off transmission oil.

Clean oil drain plug (1) and screw in. Tightening torque 23 00 2AZ .

Installation: 

Pour in transmission oil until overflowing.

Use only the approved transmission oil.

Capacity: refer to TECHNICAL DATA .

Screw in oil filler plug (2).

Tightening torque: 23 00 2AZ .

Required follow-up work: 

• Install the rear UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
