Unscrew and remove license plate.

  1. Remove complete front bumper,
  2. refer to REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPLETE FRONT BUMPER (UP TO 9/01)  .
  3. Replace base for license plate,
  4. refer to REPLACING BASEPLATE FOR LICENSE PLATE  .
  5. If necessary, remove both fog lamp inserts (complete),
  6. refer to 63 17 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT FOG LAMP INSERT (SALOON/SEDAN, TOURING) .
